JOB SUMMARY
The ICT (Information, Communications, Technology) Senior Systems Analyst has responsibility for the design, development and delivery of business solutions using single or multiple technical applications contained within the Global ICT landscape. (S)he designs, builds, tests, deploys and supports business solutions which meet business and technical requirements.
The ICT Team has experienced significant growth over the last number of years. During 2017 the team deployed our new organisational structure. We now move into an exciting phase of growth as our new organisation becomes further engaged in several business transformation initiatives across Ornua in the coming years.
This Senior Systems Analyst role will engage with multiple functional areas of our Global business and will work as part of a diverse, professional and high performing ICT team.
Within our team, we have individuals of all tenors – from brand new starters to team members with 40 years’ service at Ornua.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Senior Systems Analyst (Finance), you would be required to:
- Develop, configure and support ERP solutions in line with Ornua ICT standards, documentation and governance.
- Responsible for development and support of finance functionality across Infor M3 ERP FAM modules.
- Engage with business leads and business analysts to develop a deep understanding of business requirements and imperatives then translate these requirements into technical deliverables and plans which meet business needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot queries/issues that arise and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Support and assist the delivery of projects through their entire project lifecycle from requirements and design to UAT and post implementation support.
- Develop excellent day-to-day working relationships with the ICT Global Application Support Team.
- Provide training on existing and new processes to the business process teams.
- Identify areas for process improvement and redesign and develop ICT solution proposals to address these opportunities.
- Support existing instances of Infor Movex and M3 configurations across the various sites within the Ornua group.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WOULD BE HELPFUL TO HAVE FOR THIS POSITION?
- Minimum five years’ experience in similar systems analyst or technical ERP role.
- Significant experience with Infor M3 and Movex ERP finance applications – possess an excellent knowledge of Infor M3/Movex ERP FAM modules GL, AR, AP, FA, costing, period close, reporting, accounting rules & FAM functions.
- Technical competence in data analytics tools, BI, ETL, SQL or equivalent relationship database query language.
- Possess a good working knowledge of the order to cash (O2C) and purchase to pay (P2P) technical modules and functionality.
- Awareness of the other ERP modules that will impact finance i.e. SCM, PUR, COM, MDM, warehousing, production, product costing, pricing.
- Awareness of M3 integration and extensibility development tools would be a distinct advantage.
- Experience in the provision of training to key users would be an advantage.
- High level of integrity, passion, self-motivation and analytical skills. Flexible attitude and willingness to travel.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Languages: Fluency in English; secondary language is preferable but not required
- Technical or business bachelor or masters degree is a distinct advantage.
